I Do - Release Announcement

I just released a new song, and I'm so happy with it. It's called 'I Do', and it's the second single from my upcoming album, titled 'Human. Being. '

Unlike the first single from the album that, I put out a couple of months ago -- Cobweb in the Corner -- which has kind of like a cowpunk vibe to it, this song goes to the other extreme, and is an absolutely beautiful, tender song.

It tells the story of a woman who spends more time in the garden than with her partner...

At a deeper level, it's really about how we can be our own worst enemies. We don’t value what we have, and we want what we can never have. And nowhere is it more tragic, or more tender, than in love.

Kevin Howley produced it masterfully and gave it a delicate, tender vibe. I love Brianna's harmonies, as always. And listen to the beautifully played strings by Mike Tompa.

Speaking of love, I LOVE the cover art for this song. It's an original painting that I commissioned specifically for the song, by Persian artist Mojan Mozaffari. And she captured the essence of the song beautifully.

Have a listen.

I'd love to know what you think of it and how it makes you feel...
